Fall fun

*Disclaimer: This post is mainly for Lee to see what kids have been up to!

Kinley has never experienced Fall, and I dont know the next time she will be able to enjoy it.  So I have been trying to let her play outside in the leaves as much as possible.  She loved running in the backyard and kicking the ball.  And she brought me lots of leaves that she collected.  There was something up in the tree that she was fascinated with, but I could never figure out what it was!

Maybe she will be a soccer player
Picnic in the front yard!

Playing in the neighbors back yard!  And yes, it is 5:30pm and she is still wearing her jammies from the night before!  It's been one of those days.

Kinley has also been trying to help out a lot with Turner.  Here is is trying to give him his pacifier.  She gets a little rough, but no harm done... yet!
And her latest trick is to blow bubbles!  She is very excited about it.

Turner- 1 month

On Turner's one month birthday, he boarded a plane in South Africa and flew to Tulsa, OK!  Already a world traveler! Luckily for me, he did great on the plane.  Unfortunately my mom was not so lucky!  She had to sit with Kinley and that was a pretty disastrous situation.  Surprisingly we all survived!

Turner is a great baby and a good sleeper, so I cannot complain.  He loves to be held, which can be very tiring, but it is also sweet and gives me an excuse to cuddle with him often!  I know it wont last long, so I will take it while I can.

Baie Dankie South Africa

For those of you that dont speak Afrikaans, that means "Thank You South Africa!"  We definitely have mixed emotions as we leave our wonderful South African home.  We were able to see many amazing things while there, and most importantly we welcomed both of our children into the world there.  We will always have fond memories of our time there.

We were all supposed to be leaving SA on Dec 5 and heading to Memphis.  But last minute we decided that the kids and I would leave early (Nov 15) with my mom and head to Tulsa.  Lee will stay and finish up in SA and then we will all meet up in Memphis on Dec 6!  So things were more than crazy as we tried to get everything done last minute.  It was very hard to say goodbye to our friends and we had one last goodbye with Rugby! :(

Here are a few pictures of our last days there.  We love you South Africa!  We hope to be back one day.

Just like her daddy
Halloween fun!  Our little cheerleader and football.

And our final goodbye to Rugby.  So sad, but she is really happy with her new family.

Kisses

Kinley's 1st haircut

Kinley doesnt have a lot of hair.  But it was getting kind of scraggly and my mom was bugging me to get it cut!  So we took her to a kids cutting place to just get it trimmed.  I didnt want them to cut her bangs really short and straight across, but that is exactly what happened.  The next day it looked better, but I was a little upset at first!

She did great though, and only started getting restless at the very end.  She got to sit on a motorcyle and they gave her a sucker at the end which made her very happy!

Here she is before the haircut

And after with her sucker and necklace that Nana bought her.

On the way out, she was holding Nana's hand, but then reached over to grab Bapa too!  She sure does love them!

Kinley 16 months

Here are some pictures of what Kinley has been up to lately!  Nana and Bapa did a great job taking care of her while we were in the hospital and recovering!  They took her on lots of walks, took her to her Clamber Club classes, and played nonstop with her!  She sure is going to miss having them around.

She had a little photo shoot on her walks!  Future model?

 Finger painting messes!

Clamber Club...

Several of the shopping centers have restaurants with outdoor seating and places for the kids to play.  Here she is playing in a water fountain and then on a rocking giraffe.

And last but not least, Nana and Bapa taught Kinley to do the OU motions!  Too bad we didnt get a video cause it is adorable to see her put her hands above her head in an "O" shape and then throw them out into a "U"!  Too bad her cheering didnt help them out this weekend against Notre Dame.

Introducing Turner Lee Carnell

This is our last picture as a family of 3!

 Then came #4!
Turner Lee Carnell
October 15, 2012 at 2:23pm
7 lbs  20 inches
We were shocked when he was born because he had blonde eyelashes and eyebrows that you can barely see!  And the front of his hair is very light!  Dont know where that came from.  His eyes are blue like all babies, but they are lighter than Kinley's were, so my fingers are still crossed that he will inherit Lee's beautiful blues!

His first introduction to Kinley was a success!  She is going to be a great big sister.  She loves to give him kisses and wants to hold him, but only for about 5 seconds.  Then it is on to the next thing!  She says "baby" everytime she sees him.  And when he is not in the room she notices and asks where he is!  She also doesnt like for him to cry and freaks out when he pee's while I am changing his diaper.  When that happens, she cries for some reason!  Maybe its because I scream! :)

Nana and Bapa brought Kinley to the hospital every day to see us.  Her favorite thing was to play in the closet!

Here is our little guy in the carseat ready to leave the hospital.  He is so tiny!
My babies (still weird that it is plural!!)
How adorable is this?  Kinley holding Turner and looking so lovingly at him.  I hope they always remain best friends!

KISSES!
We are so grateful to have Turner as an addition to our family!  He is such a cutie and loves to cuddle.  His favorite thing is sleeping, which helps his mommy out a lot!  We cant wait to introduce him to all of our family and friends when we come home in a few weeks.
