Turner- 7 months

7 MONTHS
Turner has really light hair, but sometimes it really looks like it has a lot of red in it.  Some of these pictures make him look completely red headed.  I guess we will have to wait a few years and see!  Either way, he is the cutest, sweetest, happiest baby around.  It is bad because when he cries even for a minute we get kind of annoyed because it is so unusual!  I know that sounds horrible!  And people with kids that cry all the time want to punch me in the face right now.  I know, I know!  We are super spoiled.  Wouldn't trade him for the world!
He is getting pretty chubby now!  He has dimples in his knees and big, thick thighs!  So excited to have a chunky baby! My favorite baby boy in the whole wide world!

Random cuteness March - May 2013

Random Cuteness March-May 2013

It might look like she is punching him, but she is trying to get him to smile for the picture!

Kinley started school (jardin) back in March.  Her school Monigote is literally 2 doors down from our house!  Perfect!  I walk her over in the morning and walk over to get her when she is finished just before noon.  She has always loved going, but she wanted me to stay with her for a long time.  I would sing "Mommy comes back" every day as we walked to school and would tell her I would be outside waiting when she was finished.  Of course there were tears sometimes and that broke my heart, but after a minute she was fine and loved being there.  Now she cries on days when she doesnt get to go to school!  As soon as she sees it she yells, "My school!"  and starts running towards it.  Then she blows me a kiss and says "hasta luego" (see you later).  She knows that mommy always comes back and she loves her teachers and her friends from school, so she is happy to go.

First day of school:
Not the cutest uniform in the world, but I am glad she has it so she doesnt ruin all of her clothes!
Ready to go!
Tea Party:  Our friend had a Tea Party playgroup and the kids dressed up and had a blast!

Probably one of my all time favorite pictures of her.  Need to have it framed

She LOVES tunnels

Oops! Standing in the chalk tray!
For Mothers Day Kinley's school put on a program for all of the moms.  Each class came out and sang songs and danced in Spanish and English.  Kinley is in the youngest class, so they pretty much just stood around and looked cute!

The rest of the pictures are just random days doing random things!

This was his actual FIRST time sitting by himself

Itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini

Do we have a musician in our future?
I propped Turner up against the ottoman.  He did not do this on his own.  But he stood for quite awhile and was so proud of himself!! And he looks so dang cute!
So proud!

I wanted to do something cute for Lee for Fathers Day, so I put some of his ties and shoes on the kids and took pictures.  I of course could not get them to both look at me at the same time, but they still turned out really cute.  I put some of them together on some scrapbook paper with the poem "Walk a Little Slower Daddy!"  I think he thought it was cute!  And we had fun doing it.

Turner- 6 months

HE SITS!
The first time Turner sat by himself was on April 7th, about a week before he turned 6 months old.  So I was so excited that I got to take some pictures of him sitting.  He was still a little wobbly and didnt sit for too long before toppling, but we it was a success!

He has been eating rice cereal for about a month or so, but this was the first time he had vegetables!  He made awful faces the whole time, but he sure kept opening his mouth!  I think these are sweet potatoes!

Easter Time

EASTER TIME!!!

We were so excited for Easter this year because Kinley was old enough to understand some of the festivities!  We had an Easter Egg hunt in our yard Sunday morning before going to church and then the following weekend, the embassy had their big Easter party where they did another egg hunt.  It did create some confusion because every morning Kinley would wake up and say, "Find eggs?"  But it was cute to watch her run around the yard trying to find them, and as soon as she would see one, she would point and yell, "There it is!!"  Then she came inside and dumped all of the eggs on Turner!  Nice sister!  It did make for some cute pictures though!

My life
One of the best parts of Eater was that our maid Maria invited us to her house to have Easter asado (BBQ) with her and her family.  It was so nice of her to invite us and we were excited to spend time with her and her family.  She has some kids in their older 20's that are married that we really got along with (well, Lee did!  I didnt understand a word they said!).  We had a great lunch, Kinley LOVED playing with all the little kids and animals!  Maria has parrots, dogs, chickens, and a pig!  Kinley thinks this place is Disneyland!

This little girl is adorable!  And Kinley thought it was so cool that she had a baby chick!

There were baby bunnies there for them to hold

And big bunnies for them to hold!
We brought her big bag so she could get lots of eggs.  Unfortunately the egg you are seeing her put in her bag might have been the one and only egg she got!  The big kids ran out and snatched them all up before the little kids even made it close!

These are all of the "going to be 2 years old this summer" kids from the Embassy

These next pictures don't really fit into the Easter category, but I couldn't leave them out.  We have been spending a lot of time outside because it is hot and we need to be by water!  My mom sent these cute swim diapers, so we had a little photo shoot!  Here are my bathing beauties!
